  • The SHM approach uses real-time measurement and monitoring to estimate changes in the structure to predict changes in the current and future risk.

  • Value is generally realised by the SHM systems predictive ability (as post-failure diagnostics generally have relatively  low value).

  • Measurements are always limited in their number, resolution, stability or capability in diagnosing specific failure modes.

  • Presenters are strongly encouraged to reflect on the “value” provided by any technology applications and to explore the capability and limitations of any approach.

  • Leading sensor providers will showcase technologies on the trades tables (click on Sponsorship Tab for details)

  • The ANSHM Workshop is the place to:

    • Understand measurement and analytical technologies

    • Meet technology providers

    • Understand existing & emergent sensor capabilities

    • Explore system capability and limitations

    • Meet the people making data informed decisions
